Four precautions and movement modes of rubber disc check valves
(1) Four precautions for rubber disc check valves
There are four precautions for rubber disc check valves. Rubber disc check valves refer to a type of valve where the opening and closing parts are circular valve discs and the medium backflow is blocked by the action of its own weight and medium pressure. Belonging to the category of automatic valves, also known as check valves
1. In pipeline systems, do not let rubber disc check valves bear weight. Large rubber disc check valves should be supported to prevent them from being affected by the pressure generated by the pipeline system.
2. During installation, pay attention to the direction of medium flow being consistent with the arrow direction marked on the valve body.
3. The lifting type vertical rubber disc check valve should be installed on the vertical pipeline.
4. The lifting type horizontal rubber disc check valve should be installed on the horizontal pipeline.
(2) Movement mode of rubber disc check valve
The rubber disc check valve must be blocked at both ends of the valve passage and stored in a dry and ventilated room. If stored for a long time, regular inspections should be carried out to prevent rust and corrosion. Before installation, the valve should be cleaned thoroughly and any defects caused during transportation should be addressed. Carefully check the markings and nameplates on the valve during installation to ensure they meet the requirements for use. This valve is installed on a horizontal pipeline with the valve cover facing upwards.
Rubber disc check valves are divided into rubber disc check valves and lift type rubber disc check valves based on the different movement modes of the valve disc. Rubber disc check valve can only allow fluid in the pipeline to flow in one direction, and the valve disc can only open in one direction. When the medium in the pipeline is stationary and does not generate flow, the valve disc is compressed by the spring and exerts its own gravity, resulting in a closed state; When the medium in the pipeline flows in the correct direction, the flowing medium generates thrust, pushing the valve open and allowing the medium to flow through the rubber disc check valve; When the medium in the pipeline experiences backflow phenomenon, the returning medium will generate a reverse thrust on the valve disc, which works together with the weight of the valve disc itself. At this time, the valve disc will tightly adhere to the sealing surface, preventing the occurrence of backflow phenomenon.
Rubber disc check valves use high-pressure small caliber and circular discs. During installation, attention should be paid to ensuring that the flow direction of the medium is consistent with the direction of the arrow on the valve body. This valve should be installed horizontally on the pipeline, and the valve body cannot bear the weight of the pipeline. For large-diameter valves, additional support should be added. Before installation, carefully check the parameters on the nameplate to ensure they meet the working conditions of the pipeline. Storage method: The valve should be stored in a dry and ventilated room. During storage, the opening and closing parts should be in the open position, and the channels should be covered tightly with covers, and rust prevention measures should be taken. Long term storage should regularly inspect sealing surfaces and other parts to remove dirt and dust, and apply new anti rust oil.
The rubber disc check valve mainly controls the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline to be unidirectional, thereby preventing the backflow of the medium in the pipeline, the release of the container medium, and the normal backflow of the medium. Rubber disc check valves have the characteristics of simple structure, small volume, and low resistance loss, and play a very important role in fluid process systems. The single plate rubber disc check valve belongs to a type of rubber disc check valve, and its design concept and advantages make it widely used. The article provides an overview of the single plate rubber disc check valve, while explaining its working principle, design calculation of main components and structure, and structural characteristics.
