Foot Valve is an energy-saving valve that is generally installed at the bottom of the underwater suction pipe of a water pump to restrict the liquid inside the pump pipe from returning to the water source, playing a function of only entering but not exiting. The bottom valve of the filter type bottom valve is composed of parts such as the valve body, valve disc, valve cover, liner, sealing ring, etc., as shown in the figure below. Water from the water source enters the valve body from the valve cover. Under the pressure of the fluid, the valve disc opens the water, and when it stops, the pressure inside the outlet pipe quickly closes the valve disc. The liquid will not return to the water source, playing a role in both smooth pumping and saving water energy loss.
